FIFA 18 Top 100: 7 Biggest Surprises

1. No Mbappé In The Top 100

Kylian Mbappé Lottin was a hidden gem in FIFA 17, and the kind of player 'showing great potential' you could pick up for a song with the right timing. Over a few seasons, the Frenchmen would develop into one of the game's best strikers, and that talent was visible in the real-life game too. Mbappé netted 26 goals as Monaco won the French league and reached the Champions League semis last season.

Being touted by some of the world's top clubs (and eventually joining stars like Neymar at PSG) still isn't enough to convince EA that the teenager is one of the Top 100 players in the world. That has to change in time for FIFA 19, surely, because the ex-Monaco man is set to take over the game and become football's top striker.

At the very least, you'd expect to see him lurking towards the back end of the Top 100, but Mbappé isn't to be found. Maybe this will change should he start the season in blistering form for PSG - EA can't ignore the sought-after 18 year old for long.
