Understandably, at the beginning of the 2018/19 season, Zinchenko was a player on the fringes of Man City's first team. With talent like Benjamin Mendy, Fabian Delph, and Angelino available, it was never going to be easy for Zinchenko to break through. However, due to injuries, he got a chance to shine and he did just that.

The Ukranian made his way to Manchester City in 2016, coming from PSV Eindhoven. Despite at one point being an attacking midfielder, Zinchenko was asked to play left-back for Manchester City and excelled. He played most of the 2018/19 season and has seemingly cemented his spot at left-back, especially considering his competition, Mendy, is perennially injured.

Last year Zinchenko proved himself more than worthy of a first-team spot and a decent rating in FIFA 20. That being said, his FIFA 19 rating was only 75. That's an insane rating in hindsight, because Zinchenko should be a heck of a lot closer to 82, perhaps even higher.

It's possible he gets that rating because he's at such a big club, but we think EA won't want to give such an upgrade. Fingers crossed they do him justice however.
