FIFA 20: 10 Players That Will Be Criminally Underrated
1. Fabinho
Liverpool shocked signed Fabinho from Monaco last summer, just a few days after losing the Champion's League final. The Brazilian took a couple of months to find his groove at Anfield, but once he did he never looked back.
Fabinho became one of the first names on Liverpool's team-sheet thanks to his relentless pressure, his astounding tackling ability, and his defence-splitting passing. Fabinho is something of a throwback, ones who stick in the midfield and prevents counter-attacks. He's tall, agile, quick, and strong; the perfect holding midfielder, and he's only 25-years old.
Fabinho established himself as one of the world's best holding midfielders last year, perhaps only behind Chelsea's N'golo Kante and Man City's Fernandinho. With that said, Kante's rating in FIFA 19 was 89, while Fabinho's was 85. Coming into his sophomore season at Anfield, Fabinho is as cemented on the team-sheet as Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, so he deserves a much better rating.
For FIFA 20, Fabinho should be rated around 88, with potential around 90. That's how good he was in his debut season no less. Will he get that rating? Definitely not, he'll be somewhere around 85 again, which implies the guys and gals at EA don't even watch football.
