FIFA 20: 10 Players That Will Be Ridiculously Overrated
7. Kyle Walker
Manchester City's go-to right back, Kyle Walker, has done little to warrant his hefty price tag. Walker moved to Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017 for £50 million - a price that made him the world's most expensive defender, at the time.
Walker lost respect from fans when he made the move; Spurs are a high-quality team on the rise, and his move was deemed one made solely for financial reasons. Regardless of the reasons behind the scenes, Walker's first season at City was solid. His defensive capabilities are decent, while his going forward leaves a lot to be desired.
His sophomore season at City was less impressive; Walker played 33 games, racking up only one assist and getting three yellow cards. Compare that to Liverpool's 19-year old Trent Alexander-Arnold, who racked-up twelve assists and one goal.
Yet Walker is rated 84 in FIFA 19, while Alexander-Arnold is rated 80. There is no reason for that, except the fact that Arnold is young and didn't cost Liverpool anything. This right here is perfect proof of EA's bias in regards to price tags, names, and teams. Kyle Walker is a good left-back, but a rating of 81 would be far more accurate.
