FIFA 20: 10 Players That Will Be Ridiculously Overrated

PSG's Brazilian centre back has been one of the world's best defenders for years. Silva made a name for himself at A.C Milan, including becoming the first non-Italian captain in 50 years. It wasn't long until money came knocking and Silva made a big move to Paris-Saint Germaine.

Since then, Silva has been the first-choice centre back and the captain of the team. He has helped PSG to four league titles out of a possible five. He has been named the best defender in the world by various pundits and peers, and has captained Brazil in multiple tournaments.

So, with all that said, how could he possible not be deserving of his 88 rating in FIFA 19? Well it's simple: in the past year or two, Silva has been declining but his FIFA rating has not.

Thiago Silva was the best defender in the world in 2014, but this is 2019. Five years is a lot of time to pass and he has been entirely eclipsed by the likes of Raphael Varane and Virgil Van Dijk. Silva isn't in their league, and so his rating should be somewhere around 84. Harsh but fair.
