FIFA 20: 11 Future Stars You Have To Buy
5. Riqui Puig
Barcelona used to be known for fostering the best young players in world football. Nowadays it has essentially joined Real Madrid in splashing the cash and selling players if they don't impress right off the bat. That being said, the club still has some quality in its system, and cheap midfielder Riqui Puig is well worth picking up.
Puig comes in as one of the cheapest players on this list at just €2.100.000, but that also means his overall ability is currently at 69. Fret not however, because Puig's potential is around 85 and, with the new emphasis on player performance in FIFA 20, it won't be long until he's skyrocketing towards that mark.
Puig is a very competent Spanish centre midfielder who has been at the Catalonia for six years. He made his first team debut at the end of 2018 in the Copa Del Rey, in which he got an assist. His passing ability is perhaps his best asset, but he's also incredibly skilful with his feet. He can rip defences apart with eagle-eye passes and mouth-watering dribbling. Puig is a star in the making and you should snap him up before he's a starter at Barcelona.
