FIFA 22: 10 Improvements To Career Mode We Want To See
5. Other Managers Switch Jobs Too
Speaking of which.
It's hardly realistic when you're over a decade deep into your FIFA Career Mode and Pep Guardiola is still Man City boss. It's 2032, Pep. Give it a rest, son! In fact, look elsewhere in the Premier League and you'll see that Sean Dyche is still moaning about refs with his gravelly voice at Burnley too.
None of the licensed managers get sacked or move clubs in FIFA 21. This might be tied to some sort of agreement with the teams and gaffers themselves, but it's terribly dull. It'd be a minor thrill to see Pep return to Barcelona, or somehow end up at Spurs after they gave Jose Mourinho the ol' heave ho in December.
Restricting things this way removes a lot of the life FIFA's Career suite could have. They need to come up with some way of remedying this in 22. Prem clubs fire managers willy nilly in the real world, so why not in EA's game?
