FIFA 22: 10 Improvements To Career Mode We Want To See

6. More Freedom Of Choice

It is possible to switch clubs in FIFA's Career Mode, but...there's a caveat to that. The game picks a handful of destinations for you, and then asks players to apply for the gig. Then, it's a waiting game, and it all feels so unnecessary.

Basically, you're on the 'Job Offers' screen for a reason. You've decided you'd like to try out a different team without starting from scratch with a new manager, and yet EA restricts things to a pre-decided selection of sides - 90% of them seem to be from the same bloody league you're in as well.

Why?!

It's baffling that they've removed the ability to switch to any club you like at the end of the season. If players want to leap from Man Utd to Inter, then let them. A totally left-field switch from Inter to Charlton two seasons later? Let it happen. This isn't an aspect of FIFA that needs to be super-realistic.
