7. AP Up Materia
Every Final Fantasy VII fan knows you haven't really finished it until you've maxed out all your materia!
Thankfully, there's a piece of materia for making that much easier, but you may not get it, unless you take steps to do so.
The AP up materia can only be actually required by first picking up the Pedometer materia, which is outside Aerith's house in Chapter 14. Once you've got it, make sure you equip it - it does absolutely nothing at first, but states that after a certain number of steps are completed, something might happen.
It's right too - after you've done 5000 steps (easily doable) with the materia equipped, it'll transform itself into the very handy AP Up materia which will make it much easier to max out your materia.
It's worth noting that you'll need to make sure the materia you want to level up is in a linked slot with the AP up materia on your armour/weapon. It only boosts one piece of materia at a time.
