Final Fantasy 7 Remake: 10 Secret Weapons, Items & Bosses You MUST Find

Despite being in plain sight, it can actually be quite easy to miss getting the Choco Mog materia.

This summon materia is unique in the game in that it's actually the only one you'll find lying on the ground out in the world. All the rest are obtained via story beats, or by completing Chadley's range of VR battles for completing his Intel Reports.

Choco Mog is hidden behind the giant fans during Chapter 6, just before you infiltrate the second Mako reactor. Barrett, Tifa and Cloud will have to traverse past these fans, and if you pan the camera towards them, it'll ping a discovery event and show off the materia.

You can't, however, get it immediately. You'll need to shut down the sun lamps first in the area, then use the lift near the larger cargo lift to travel over to an area with a ladder. Climb it, use the console, and beat the enemies in the next room in the time limit, then quickly hit the next console.

You'll then have access to the area behind the fan, and the Choco Mog materia too for your collection!
