Football Manager 2016: 10 Challenging Teams You Will Need To Use

4. Elche

If you're looking for a true test of your ability to cope without money, go for Elche. In fairness to the small side from the south eastern tip of Spain, they battled well in La Liga under the circumstances and finished in a respectable 13th position. However, they failed to pay their taxes for a second season in a row, and were therefore demoted from La Liga, sparing minnows Eibar from a trip down the divisions. Elche will now begin life in the second tier having lost a chunk of their squad, with barely anything to spend. This challenge would not be for the faint-hearted, but stopping the rot, whipping the team in shape, and charging back into the top flight would be a huge victory. If you could even guide them towards the top of the table you'd command both respect and pity that you had enough spare hours to accomplish it...
