If you have money, and you're willing to wait a short amount of time for a much younger version of Moutinho, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is the man. You may have heard all about the Bayern midfielder but assumed he'd be too difficult to sign, but you'd be wrong. He commands a high fee (around the £24m mark) but I promise you that he is worth it. Pay the fee over the course of a few years, because Hojbjerg is sticking around that long. If you sign him immediately, you'll fill a spot in your starting XI for at least a decade. His stats are already good enough for plenty of top teams but Hojbjerg is even willing to sign a long-term deal with 'the chasing pack' teams, the Premier League equivalent being Spurs. You can negotiate him down to about £60k p/w for five years, meaning he's relatively low maintenance compared to what his ability may suggest. Hojbjerg may seem like a scary deal, but he's an incredible talent. Take a leap of faith and you'll be rewarded enormously.
