The Challenge: Deliver Tony Xia with the results he's been telling fans he's going to deliver within five years...

When Xia took over at Aston Villa and appointed Roberto Di Matteo, the future looked rosy for the Midlanders. They had been relegated embarrassingly, but surely they'd be competing with the likes of Norwich, Brighton and Newcastle at the top of the league... Right?

Fast forward a few months and despite spending some good money, Villa have made a less than great start, jettisoning Di Matteo and turning to Steve Bruce. But they have a reasonably solid squad, and pulling power: you may just have to exploit the loans and frees market to get out of the Championship.

And taking them further up the Premier League will require a total rebuild job, which is undoubtedly a big task.
