Football Manager 2017: Top 20 Richest Teams

5. Liverpool (£40m)

FM 2017 Budget Liverpool

Transfer Budget: £40m, Available Wages: £475k

Liverpool broke even this summer by selling players like Christian Benteke and Jordon Ibe to fund Sadio Mane and co., so it's no surprise they've got a big budget in FM 17. £40m is more than enough to greatly improve Liverpool's starting XI, and their unused wage budget (£475k p/w) is the third biggest in the game.

With the right adjustments, Liverpool's transfer budget can be tweaked all the way to £62.4m. Meeting their modest league expectations (Europa League qualification) really shouldn't be difficult with those kinds of funds at your disposal.
