Football Manager 2018: 20 Wonderkids You Will Need To Sign

4. Kieran Tierney

Kieran Tierney is the most exciting young player to come out of Scotland in years. A swashbuckling attacking full-back, he has established himself as a mainstay in a Celtic side that went unbeaten domestically in 2016/17 and he has stayed loyal to the club throughout his development, snubbing a £10 million switch to Arsenal last summer.

His FM17 starting stats were solid, but he quickly grew into an excellent Premier League-calibre defender. It wasn't uncommon for Tierney's value to hit upwards of £40 million in the previous game, and there's no reason that won't be the case again this year, given his excellent performances.

While his potential varied from save to save in FM17, expect the word "wonderkid" to appear under his Media Description with greater frequency in 18.
