He's not quite the player he was at Arsenal (either time), but Mathieu Flamini still has better stats in FM '18 than his lack of game time at Crystal Palace last season probably suggests he deserves.
Again, he's very experienced and even as a squad player for back-up and some starts (his Fitness is now a little lower than past years), and if you play him as a deep-lying anchor to protect your defence, there's no reason he can't be considered competition for the starting line-up. He's still got that same old bite.
