Giuseppe Rossi's career has been one marked by missed opportunities and problems he couldn't control. It look him a while to find his place in European football - at Villarreal where he enjoyed a few good seasons (and one great one), but then a cruciate ligament injury there set him back. He went on to Fiorentina and managed 16 goals in 21 games, but then a medial ligament injury put him out and he's not been the same since.
He's now a free, but he has the stats of someone who has been quietly prolific while fit and playing in FM '18. Considering how hard it is to buy goals now, a 16 for finishing, 17 for first touch and 16 for penalties is great, and he has other stats that make him an easy gamble with no transfer fee. Just be aware his fitness is terrible.
