Ajax has always been known for producing some of the best youth talent in football and that tradition has continued into the modern era. While it might seem like all of their footballing gems were stolen from them following their surprising run in the Champions League last season, Ajax still have plenty of strong youngsters rising up through their ranks.

None have been more impressive than 17-year old midfielder, Ryan Gravenberch. The first recipient of the Abdelhak Nouri Trofee for the best player in the Dutch champions' academy, Gravenberch has been long touted as the next big thing to come from the Eredivisie squad. Considering they've produced the likes of Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong recently that's some heavy praise.

As all products of the Ajax youth academy, Gravenberch is exceptional when it comes to the technical areas of the game. He has the ability to dribble with the ball, has solid shooting and his passing is on point. However, at 17-years old, he's still got a lot of growing to do and if he can fill out his frame, you could be looking at a giant midfield threat.

Considering he's highly-touted, Gravenberch could cost a pretty penny early on in the game. Keep an eye on him with a scout, watch his progress and if he's worth a punt and your team is in desperate need of midfield general, then he is your man.
