3. Pedro Porro

Football Manager 2022 Pedro Porro

Club: Man City (on loan at Sporting Lisbon)

Nationality: Spanish

Price: £45 million

Is Pedro Porro one of FM22's greatest secrets? That depends entirely on how die-hard a Football Manager you've been in recent years.

For those who've never heard of the young Spaniard, Porro is a major prospect who, if FM is to believed, is destined to become a true superstar of the beautiful game. A Manchester City player, the 21-year-old starts off out on loan at Sporting Lisbon when you being your FM22 career. That's not to say you can't put an offer in to line up a future transfer for him, though.

£45 million should hopefully get this deal across the line for you, and the reason for that fee being so high is down to the sheer quality Pedro Porro brings with him. In addition to hugely promising physical and defensive stats, Porro's impact on your team can be plentiful given the 17 rating he has for flair, the 16 he has for dribbling, and the 15s he has for creativity and crossing.

Think of Pedro as essentially a Trent Alexander-Arnold-in-waiting. If you wait even a season before trying to put a deal in place for Porro, you could easily end up having to fork out £100 million on the fella.
