Club: Brighton

Nationality: English

Price: £54 million

£54 million is a lot of money for nearly any team on Football Manager 2022, but that figure is absolutely worth investing in Tariq Lamptey.

The 20-year-old starts of as one of the hottest prospects on FM22, period, and matures to become an unquestionably world class talent as the seasons roll on.

Lamptey has everything needed for the modern attacking full-back. He's utterly rapid, has energy for days, is good and composed on the ball, and his defensive stats grow to be exceptional. One thing that is lacking from the former Chelsea man's game, mind, is his physical strength.

If physicality is a big thing for you, it might be worth passing on Tariq Lamptey. But even with low strength stats, the rest of the boxes ticked by the energetic England youth international make him such a fantastic option to have at your disposal.

Sure, that £54 million or so is a steep amount to lay out upon starting a new FM22 career, but this is a plyer who you can get a solid ten seasons or more out of if you so choose.
