Football Manager 2022: 10 Spanish Wonderkids You Must Sign
4. Nico Williams (Athletic Bilbao)
Long-time Football Manager players will surely remember Iñaki Williams, a wonderkid in his own right several years ago. Iñaki, being 27 now, is already an established player, but his brother Nico has just started to flash his talents on the big stage.
He is slowly being blooded into the first team by manager Marcelino, making a total of 26 appearances this season, only six of which have been starts.
A rapid winger with a silky first touch, Williams has bags of potential and could easily be a world-class player, especially since he plays in such an integral position. He can play close to the touchline or more narrow as an inverted winger, either way, he can cause mayhem and force any opposing full-back to be extra careful and keep an eye on him.
He still has ways to go in the technical area of his game, as he is currently pretty raw and inconsistent. But he has great foundations to build on and develop into a very productive player. If you want to see him in your team, he will cost you significantly less than the next three players on the list, so he could be a great pick if you're managing a mid-table club looking to crack into the very top.
Around £21 - 64 million is far from a ridiculous price for a potential star of the game.
