Game Of Thrones: Casting House Forrester From The Telltale Series

Despite being the first American-born performer on this list, Julianne Moore would not only be a great choice for House Forrester's matriarch, Lady Elissa, but arguably the only choice.

Moore has become famous for her love of playing troubled female characters and Elissa is a complex character who certainly has her demons. She loses her husband in the early goings of the Telltale series and from there is forced to watch as the family she cares so deeply for begins to fall apart at the seams.

Moore also definitely looks the part, is more or less the right age for the part, and even already has a hair color similar to Elissa's.

In addition, Moore is a fantastic, experienced actress with an Oscar under her belt for her role in the 2015 film Still Alice. Plus, it's in that film that she displays a fantastic talent for portraying a maternal figure, yet another reason she'd be perfect for the role of Elissa.

Finally, despite being born in the states, her mother was Scottish and she is a British citizen, something that has clearly rubbed off on her considering she displayed some utterly top-notch accent work in 2009's A Single Man.
