Inside Recon is the first developer diary from Red Storm Entertainment, providing us eager military shooter fans a look into the animation behind Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The animation team has used over 2,500 animations alone for the main character, and the thought of how many are being implemented for the other characters is astonishing. One of the central ideas is that being a 3rd person shooter you can see everything the character does, and with such a high focus on fluid movement, it will allow the player to be engaged deeper within the game world. Former Navy Seal operatives were used in motion capture, offering up the players a visual feel of military authenticity. You roll, dive, slide, and behave every action in the game as a true Navy Seal does. From the looks of the animation already in the game, the characters already move like knife through butter. What else would be after that...Rob Thomas and Santana? Sorry...the video's below. http://youtu.be/PfmM4sWGO9Y If you're interest has been raised you can pre-order the May 25th released Ghost Recon: Future Soldier now for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
