GTA 6 Wishlist: 10 Biggest Items We Most Want To See
3. Red Dead Redemption 2's Pacing
Red Dead Redemption 2 probably wasn't for everyone, and this writer knows several people who still haven't finished Rockstar's lengthy cowboy drama. It would've come as a shock to the system for those players expecting the developer to cram dick jokes aplenty in there or any pick-up-and-play mechanics.
RDR2 was a slowwwwwwwww experience, one you were meant to enjoy incrementally rather than racing from location to location with gun in hand. Walking or cantering on your horse were both actively encouraged so the game world's atmosphere would sink in, and major plot points were spoon fed sparingly rather than every five minutes.
This measured pace is something GTA could learn from.
Now, hold on, nobody's saying that GTA 6 needs to outright copy Arthur Morgan's morning shave routine, but it could do with exercising a little restraint. In an era more concerned with madcap sprints to the finish so gamers can get stuck into some multiplayer, it'd be refreshing to see GTA favour a more laid-back feel in between firefights.
