One of the most evident changes from the more recent gameplay demonstrations is just how enhanced and improved upon the shooting mechanics are. Rockstar took recently adored features like weapon wheels and reticule sway from past successes like Max Payne 3 and Red Dead Redemption and fused them into GTA V. Max Payne 3 was also an extremely cinematic game full of tense movie like moments praised by critics and gamers alike, so when you account for that there's no telling how thrilling and epic some sequences will reach. Every time I read about realistic touches like the ability to shoot gasoline and ignite a fire that trails to an explosion Im taken aback at the ridiculous amount of detail Rockstar has stuffed into the game. They even hired real gangsters to record dialogue meaning those shootouts may actually give off an unprecedented atmospheric vibe that you are in an intense gang firefight. In terms of brutality there also is no sign of holding back as dismemberment is confirmed.
