6. A New Player Has Entered The Game

GTA IV came out in 2008. And as you€™re probably aware, GTA V is rumoured to have a 2013 release. So five years have passed in between, meaning a kid who was twelve for GTA IV (and way too young to have been involved with the series and its surrounding hype or controversy) is now seventeen. Ah, what an age! I remember it well. It€™s the perfect age to find yourself right at the shiny beginning of R*€™s target demographic. GTA V is going to have a whole new range of players in those that were too young to have encountered the series previously when it finally does come out. And of course, with a new set of kids comes a new set of concerned mummies and daddies. I don€™t doubt that this new, uninitiated set of parents will be just as concerned, just as fearful for the children as the last lot was, but what I do doubt is that they€™ll succeed in making anyone want to play the game less. They might as well save their breath and just not bother. But they won€™t€
