8. You Like Fun, Dont You?
You can theorize all you like about GTAs hype, about this element and that element; the story, the characters, the controversy. But in essence, one of the most obvious reasons were all dying to play so much is the fact that every GTA title in the past has been an immense amount of fun to sit down and play. Theres your third-person action elements; youre driving elements; your different missions types; your characters development. All this equates to a thoroughly, bloody good time. And who doesnt like fun? I guarantee, all the other stuff would amount to a hill of beans if R* hadnt developed a title that was above all else fun to play. But this is an area where theyve really knocked it out of the park in the past, time and time again; no surprise then that GTA V is one of the most widely read topics on the internet right now.
