Gamers are a notoriously fickle bunch (no offense; I lump myself in with that statement) and I cant help but feel that many would suddenly turn on Claude or Tommy Vercetti if they were even remotely different from their original iterations. But if they
werent different then how can character progression have taken place in the backstory? In short, while a returning protagonist might
seem potentially awesome, since variety is in fact the spice of life, I argue that R* would be shooting themselves in the foot in the long-term.
