GTA V: 10 Repeated Rockstar Errors It Must Avoid

7. Graphics Over Gameplay

GTA5

This is more of a general gaming problem than a Rockstar mistake, but I still thought it was worth a mention. Games seem to be more focused on providing amazing graphics than an amazing all-round experience, and it really is a shame. This, for me, came to light as a Rockstar problem with the release of GTA IV back in 2008, when I was impressed by the graphics, but I couldn€™t really get into the game; it wasn€™t really that enjoyable. Those of you that read my previous San Andreas article will be aware of my adoration for the 2004 title, and I still feel that it has more re-play value than GTA IV to this day. Whilst San Andreas€™ graphics were decent at the time, they have obviously not aged well due to the release of next-gen consoles, but even in the present day, San Andreas remains an enjoyable gaming experience. GTA V€™s graphics, on evidence from the two trailers, do look amazing, but let€™s hope that this has not been the sole focus, and that we are provided with a truly unforgettable gaming experience.
