Its hard to believe that Grand Theft Auto 5 is over a year old now. It seems just like yesterday that the biggest game of all time was only just released. While the next gen re-release may reek as just another cash grab (which, lets be real, it most certainly is), Rockstar has done us a kindness by giving us a reason to upgrade. Of course the new version has the obligatory graphical upgrade and atmospherics, but by far the best new addition to the game is the first-person mode. Ever since GTA III, the series has always been a third-person action game, and a good one at that. Now with first-person mode, we get to experience GTA from an entirely new perspective. And it is awesome; so awesome in fact that it almost makes GTA V feel like a new game entirely. Thanks to the new and more intimate perspective, things youve done a million times are now fresh, more intense, and even a tad disturbing, and there are just some of the crazy things you have to try in first-person mode.
