GTA V: 25 Radio Stations That Should Be Included

11. 'World' Music

Example name: Global Beat

A GTA game habitually has a foreign-influenced station: Vice City had the Latin jazz Espantoso, Liberty City Stories the Arabic music of Radio del Mundo and IV had reggaeton San Juan Sounds plus the Eastern European flavourings of Vladivostok. Odds favour another, most likely to inhabit Latin-based material due to the magnitude of Mexican immigrants and Latin American ambience found in Los Angeles.

Playlist suggestions:

The Chakachas - Rayo Del Sol Carlos Santana - Para Los Rumberos Los Pericos - Pupilas Lejanas Johnny Pacheco - La Escencia Guaguanco Molotov - Frijolero Maldita Vecinadad Y Los Hijos Del Quinto Patio - Pachuco Jarabe de Palo - La Flaca Maria Conchita - Vamos a Bailar La Quinta Estación - Me Muero Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - Mexican Shuffle Los Amigos Invisibles - Ponerte en Cuatro Eumir Deodato - Samba De Verão Don Omar - Taboo Chances of inclusion: 60%

12. Funk

Example name: Chiliad Central I'm a big advocate of funk music, so it may come as no surprise to discover that Master Sounds & IF99 were actually my favourite listens from the past two main games. IF99 featured afrobeat with a great selection of African classics while Master Sounds was heavy with James Brown influence and tracks sampled by rappers. Honestly, I wouldn't mind the same again; such is the strength of the Godfather and his compatriots. With two stations demonstrating funk at their core on San Andreas you'd be pardoned for assuming it has every chance of showing up again. Playlist suggestions: The O'Jays - I Love Music Lonnie Liston Smith - Devika James Brown €“ Hot Pants War €“ Outlaw The Isley Brothers - It's Your Thing Powerline - Double Journey Chuck Brown - Bustin' Loose King Floyd - Groove Me Gil Scott-Heron - The Bottle The Commodores - Brick House Stevie Wonder €“ Sir Duke Bobby Byrd - I Need Help (I Can't Do It Alone) KC & The Sunshine Band - I'm Your Boogie Man Chances of inclusion: 50%

13. Classic Pop & New Wave

Example name: Sunset FM

I would absolutely love a return to the 80s pop that made Vice City so popular but I admit it's not authentic to feature in every single game. But if Episodes From Liberty City, a game set in the modern era, can have a Vice City FM, then why not something alike for this? The Saints Row games have likewise incorporated an old pop station. This could quench the 80s nostalgia thirst with some tunes reminiscent of Vice City. You can be the most devilish metalhead and you'll still find joy in these vintage corny tunes.

Playlist suggestions: Blondie - Call Me King - Love and Pride Hall & Oates - Private Eyes Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer Olivia Newton-John - Physical Adam Ant - Goody Two Shoes Spandau Ballet - Chant No.1 Visage - Fade To Grey The Housemartins - Happy Hour INXS - Need You Tonight Huey Lewis & The News - Hip To Be Square ABC - The Look of Love Matthew Wilder - Break My Stride The Outfield - Say It Isn't So Owen Paul - My Favourite Waste of Time Chances of inclusion: 50%
