4. Touch Pad
Going off recent cover art and the information given to us by the Game Informer information blowout last year, we know that phones and other such gadgets are going to be making quite a prevalent appearance in Grand Theft Auto 5. We thought therefore that the touchscreen pad on the new DualShock 4 controller could come into this a little. All phones these days are touchscreen - one swipe left or right with your thumb and you are browsing the internet or flicking through apps. This could be mimicked in GTA 5 - say for example you swipe the touchscreen of your controller, Franklin could then correspond with this movement and use his virtual phone. There are other ways it could work too, for instance, when switching between the three central characters, gamers are presented with a Google Earth style screen depicting where each of the characters are - one swipe on the touchscreen for instance and you could flick through "Google Earth" virtually hassle free.
