GTA V Online Heists: 9 Essential Tips You Need To Know

6. Use Time In Between Heists To Grind Skills

It's not a widely known fact just yet, but the structure of the heists online essentially play out as story missions, albeit with multiple protagonists. Upon finishing one you're thrown back into the city and must wait a full in-game day for Lester to give you a call and arrange the next one. This should take about 50 minutes give-or-take, and assumedly it's Rockstar's way of making the content feel lengthier and more worthwhile. However, in this downtime instead of doing what everyone does in GTA and blowing seven shades out of a nearby pensioner, take a trip over to something like the flight school or shooting range and grind the stats necessary to help your crew out in the subsequent missions. Obviously blasting pedestrians or delving into the new Adversary modes will up your shooting skills too, but it's worth playing towards a particular goal, as it's in the blending of your team's skills that'll make for a multi-faceted money-grabbing powerhouse approach.
