Artemis is crowned queen of the boon-giving gods, which is unsurprising considering just how much her critical damage does to make gameplay feel like a hot knife through butter. Artemis on damage is valuable for those looking at more challenging runs, since critical hits deal 300% of base damage.
Aphrodite is one of the other most popular gods, and not just for her gorgeous design. Her damage scales very well and Heart Rend, her duo boon with Artemis, adds to critical damage and makes it even more powerful. Combos involving Aphrodite's weak paired with Artemis's crits are a staple in powerful builds, as it both makes enemies weaker and makes attacks so much stronger.
