If you're a dyed-in-the-wool Potter fan, you've already dressed up. It might not have been in public, but there's a very big chance you've put robes on, or even just glasses and drawn on a scar and proclaimed yourself a wizard or witch. It's just part and parcel of the fandom.

There's also a HUGE community of social media users who hungrily eat up any opportunity to play around with filters (and not just the ones that shave pounds off your chin and tune you up from being a 4/10 to a solid, slightly out-of-focus 7). So having a built-in wizard dress-up filter to change your profile picture - or simply to play around with endlessly saving pictures to see if you really would suit a beard is great fun.

And more generally, it's only a single part of a customisation and personalisation mechanic that makes you feel like an important part of this world. From choosing your House through to deciding on a profession (and progressing through training and skills in exchange for collectibles), there's lots of elements you can play around with.
