Hell Let Loose: 10 Reasons It's The Most Brutal WW2 Shooter Ever

8. High Player Count

In order to create a realistic representation of real-world warfare a game should at least include enough players for it to feel like two armies duking it out.

Fortunately, Hell Let Loose has you covered here, featuring a player count of 100 players going head-to-head in large scale 50v50 battles across expansive open maps. This helps to create an authentic WW2 feel and means that matches are often unpredictable with no two matches playing out in the same fashion.

This isn't exactly something unique to Black Matter's entry into the genre, as Battlefield continues to feature 128 players and Arma 3 allows for as many players as a server and its players can handle.

However, it's certainly among one of the more accessible yet realistic titles for those looking for large-scale virtual warfare, as there is nothing quite like pushing forwards through fields or a town alongside 49 other teammates.
