2. Corky The Clown
Corky the Clown was a character who appeared in series highlight Hitman: Blood Money, and the chance to dress up in a suit reminiscent of his iconic clown costume (complete with red wig and squeaky red nose) was one players were happy to take up.
"The Corky Commotion" escalation mission for 2016's Hitman saw Agent 47 dropped off in Paris dressed in his clown get-up. Equipped with a colourful baseball bat dressed with streamers, 47 must run around the City of Love dressed in this most unsubtle clown disguise, using said bat to beat celebrities such as Helmet Kruger and others into submission for the ICA. Thanks to his ridiculous costume, no one bats an eyelid at Agent 47 until you, well... bat their eyelids, as the weapon "A New Bat" is classed as legal when wearing your Corky-inspired short-sleeved shirt.
This outfit is a fun nod to the franchise's past, and the mission it came on also introduced an additional challenge to the Escalation system, giving players hidden balloons to find and burst as you stalked your prey. Seems likely that, with Agent 47's Corky on the prowl, coulrophobia isn't going away anytime soon.
