Of course, some may point to the distorted, angled design as maybe being a little too X-like for Sony bigwigs who’d like to steer well away from even the most minimal of comparisons to the Xbox, but still, FalconDesign3D’s ideas for the PS5 unit are sure to have certain corners of the PlayStation universe purring at what they’re seeing.

As alluded to, this is all purely guesswork and one person’s interpretation on the PlayStation 5 based on some leaked images that may or may be a legit glimpse at the PS5. Since announcing that the PS5 was in development, Sony has kept shtum and extremely hush-hush on any and all specifics of the console – including the design of the system.

One of the view things that we do know about the PlayStation 5, is that it should be widely available before 2020 is out. An exact release date, system specifics, and gaming options are yet to be officially announced by Sony, mind. Either way, PS enthusiasts have already mentally put aside a chunk of change big enough to pick up the PS5 upon its release.
