Jedi Fallen Order: 10 Star Wars Games EA MUST Make Next
1. Project Ragtag
On October 17th 2017, EA announced that it was closing one of its subsidiaries, Visceral Games.
Visceral had been responsible for the Dead Space series, so this was a big loss to the gaming world. Even bigger was the loss of their final project - a Star Wars game called "Project Ragtag".
Ragtag was headed up by the legendary Amy Hennig, who wrote the first three Uncharted games. She was working on what was supposed to be an open world game featuring a cast of colourful characters undertaking some kind of heist and it was shaping up to be something quite extraordinary.
However, it never saw the light of day, as EA reassigned the project to its Vancouver studios, where it was quietly dropped.
Now, there's every chance that elements of Ragtag ended up in Fallen Order, but there is no way of knowing exactly what Hennig had in store. This was the mind behind Uncharted, one of the most successful game series of all time. You just know it would have been special.
EA still have a chance to make this game (or at least use Hennig's story), but, sadly, it looks like Ragtag will join the ranks of the greatest games we'll never get to play.
