5. Four Party Members

Another brand new feature found within this trailer is the introduction of a four party member system.

Every other Kingdom Hearts game has limited the number of party members to three, making the player have to choose between having Donald and Goofy or one of the two plus a Disney character. Throughout the trailer we see scenes where Hercules, Donald and Goofy are all in the party at once, with Hercules fighting besides Sora against the Heartless.

Besides getting rid of a tough strategy decision, it also teases how big the battles in Kingdom Hearts 3 are going to be. We already see a huge amount of Heartless on screen at all times, but the inclusion of a fourth team member means players are almost definitely going to need their help.
