4. Wizard "Types"
One of the more interesting details in the leaked press release is that we can apparently choose between 8 different 'wizard types'. What could this mean?
A reasonable explanation for this phrasing is simply that you can choose the history and background of your character, such as where they originally came from and whether or not they're a pure-blood or a half-blood.
It could also simply be a gameplay choice, letting you choose what your character is best at. One type may be better at combat, whereas another might be better in social situations. This would be fairly standard for an RPG.
However, a much more interesting possibility is that your wizard type could correlate with interesting magical abilities and augments, such as being an Animagus or even a Maledictus.
Although this seems like a big gameplay shift, it could simply provide a few gameplay benefits and abilities, similarly to something like race in the Elder Scrolls games.
