Legend Of Zelda - Ranking Every Link From Worst To Best

6. Link's Awakening (2019)

The most recent and easily the most adorable interpretation of Link. It brings to mind those claymation Christmas specials you watched as a kid, or your favorite toy set that you still have fond memories of, and this perfectly embodies the nostalgia that this remake provides.

Perfectly embodying the playful, adventurous spirit of the series, as well as Nintendo’s toy box approach to game design. Don’t pretend you didn’t want to just reach into the screen, pull him out and start playing with him and all the other characters like the adorable toy figurines that they were.

And just like Majora’s Mask and the original Link’s Awakening for 1993, he proves that he doesn’t need Zelda, the Triforce, or Ganon to be an awesome hero. And just like the first Link’s Awakening was the last adventure Link would go on before the groundbreaking Ocarina of Time, we’re sure this is just an appetizer for an amazing Breath of the Wild sequel slated to come out some time for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
