wikiA good but not great QB, the Atlanta Falcon playmaker deserves to take a step back. A big part of his teams horrible 4-10 season, Ryan failed to deliver on a potentially great franchise. The Falcons after all were mere yards away in 2012 from representing the NFC at the Superbowl. Matty Ice can have few excuses. In Roddy White and the sure hands of Tony Gonzalez he had 2 high grade receivers to throw to (2 more than Mr Newton). Julio Jones was also active for 5 games and is another outstanding player. He should be reaching his best years as a 7th year veteran so last years distinctly average numbers were particularly harmful to his teams chances of going one step further. With 26 TD's but 17 INT's, Matty Ice does not deserve a 94. It wouldn't be a surprise to see Ryan drop out of the 90's altogether. With such a talented group of receivers at his disposal the opportunity to mask certain flaws and propel his rating sees him enter this list at this early stage.
