7. Jason Witten

Tim Sharp/AP/Press Association ImagesWitten also didn't have a terrible season but is included on this list for his extremely high rating in Madden 25. At 32 his best footballing years are most probably behind him and the number of great tight ends around the NFL at the moment sees Witten put into context. Given the choice, I'd rather have Graham, Gronkowski, Davis, Thomas and Bennett on my roster than Witten. Last years 96 overall will surely decrease as a result of these other tight ends. In Madden, it's unlikely the 5th, 6th or 7th best player in a position will keep such a lofty rating. Tony Romo had a fine year statistically (31 TD's 10 INT's) so for Witten to have fewer yards than the soon to be OAP Tony Gonzalez is worrying. A rating in the high 80s low 90s seems most likely for the man from Tennessee.
