Okay, so here's a controversial choice. The reigning Super Bowl Champions, the New England Patriots, should see their ratings lowered for Madden 16. Yes, they triumphed, and some of their fringe players will get a jolt upwards, but some big names have departed, meaning the initial rating should be taken down a notch or two. Darrelle Revis, Brandon Browner, Vince Wilfork, Shane Vereen, and Stevan Ridley have all left during the off-season, with the first three names in particular likely to see the team's overall rating take a hit. However, this is not to say that the Patriots will fail miserably this year. Everyone will be predicting a slip during Tom Brady's absence, but they've allowed big players to leave and still produced the goods too many times before to be counted out. Their rating should take a hit, but a new-look Patriots will still be dangerous.
