Madden 20: 8 Things We Already Know

7. Commentary Isn't Getting An Update

Expect Madden regulars Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis to come armed with some new 'NFL 100' lines on commentary this year. Those, along with the usual contextual fluff for each team, might be the only major changes. Messrs. Gaudin and Davis aren't going anywhere.

That's not strictly a bad thing, though it would've been nice to hear some new voices.

EA could've gone down the FIFA route and provided an alternative announce duo for big games like the AFC/NFC Championship deciders and that all-important Super Bowl clash. Hearing Gaudin and Davis repeat the same lines over and over will undoubtedly become tedious, and it's a bit of a shame that they won't be backed up by another team.

Brace yourself to hear the same banter from game-to-game. We'll have to wait for that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman combo, or some Tony Romo goodness that'd liven up the action. His stunning insights would've been welcome.
