Madden 22: 10 Rumours You Need To Know

6. Madden On Switch?

Madden 22
Nintendo

Hmm.

Dunno' about anybody else, but this Madden player would turn his nose up at a Nintendo Switch release. Sure, throwing big passes and winning Super Bowls on the go could be fun, but the Switch version wouldn't have a prayer of matching those seen on other systems.

If anything, Madden 22 on Switch would be a dreaded "Legacy" edition of the game. If FIFA on Nintendo's hardware is anything to go by, then it'll be one to skip. Maybe that's harsh, but screw it; EA hardly deserve any praise for releasing a full-priced game that isn't worth the money onto Switch as a quick cash grab measure.

That's what they'd surely be doing with Madden's debut on Switch. Most of the tasty gameplay improvements about to be discussed in this article would probs be totally absent from the feature set, and that'd lead to huge disappointment from those looking for a modern football title on Nintendo's platform.
