5. The Yard 2.0
The Yard ain't going anywhere.
The year, EA are likely to offer up an even deeper experience than they did in Madden 21. The Yard 2.0 will have more customisation options, more gear, more archetypes, new locations etc, and it'll just be a slicker package generally.
Keep in mind that 2K will be launching their own NFL title soon-ish. EA will be fully aware of that, and they won't want to let their stronghold on the arcade market fade - this could mean that The Yard will be closer to NFL Street than it was last time. Anyone who played those classics on PS2 and beyond will agree that's a plus.
One problem EA could run into is that The Yard's player base faded a little by the end of 2020. Fans think the developers will want to stop that from happening a second time and establish the run-around arcade mode as something to treasure rather than something to dabble in.
