Madden 23: 10 Things You NEED To Know Before Buying
3. Franchise Seems Samey
Ready for a big, "However"?
EA's own "Gridiron Notes" did include word on more in-depth contract negotiations and scouting mechanics for Franchise devotees, but nothing really jumps out as revolutionary or even an exciting step forwards. If you like Franchise the way it is, then you'll still have a blast.
If you don't, then you're not set to experience some bold reinvention of the wheel here. The developers wanted to lift up the hood and tamper with some little pieces - they're not totally changing how Franchise operates, and that'll disappoint those who crave a bigger and better mode they can pump hundreds of hours into.
Most of the Franchise focus seems to have gone on Face Of The Franchise rather than on the larger-scale mode. Don't be tricked by all this chatter about scouting and contract negotiations. Is negotiating a deal with your star RB really what you'll play Franchise for? Probably not.
