4. Unlock Another Character

"All characters unlocked" they said, but there's actually one more you can get for acquiring a Gold in all 12 Cups across the 200 cc class.

It'll take a lot of practice, which is most easily done in 50 or 100cc, the two slowest of the four, as you can take time perfecting which items do the most damage whilst learning the courses and nailing a specific character to take into that faster, final mode (I recommend Rosalina or Shy Guy for healthy boosts of Acceleration and Handling, respectively).

Once you've got all 12, Gold Mario is yours. He's not drastically different to regular and silver, but definitely serves as a way to show off to the competition online that you've mastered the single player.
